Model: L36i / 6602
Sony Xperia Z 3G C6602 is one of the two new flagship smartphones recently announced by Sony – the other being Xperia ZL. The 3G 850 network band compatible device actually falls into the phablet category with Sony's first Full HD 5.0-inch Reality Display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, an extra-ordinarily high pixel density of 443ppi and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 for super clear and sharp viewing. OptiContrast panel is used in the screen to remove the layer of air and bring the touch panel closer to the display. This not only makes the screen less reflective even in bright sunlight, but also increases the responsiveness of the screen.
The brand new phablet models a 7.9mm thin, very sleek, elegant yet powerful water and dust-resistant design and comes with IP55 and IP57 certification. This practically means that the phone is significantly dust resistant and can withstand immersion in water for up to 30 minutes at 1 meter depth. The tough phone is also big on configuration boasting a powerful Quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064+MDM9215M Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It is worth noting here that this is the first Quad-powered phone from Sony.
Powered by Google's Android OS v4.1 (Jelly Bean) with planned upgrade to v4.2, the Xperia Z 3G C6602 features an outstanding 13.0 Megapixel rear camera with dual lowlight Exmor RS sensors to take stunningly clear stills and HDR for Full HD 1080o movie recording in lowlight and strongly backlit conditions. Additional camera features include Image Stabilizer, Picture Effect, red-eye reduction, scene recognition, burst photography, sweep panorama and smile detection. A front 2.2 Megapixel Full HD camera is also available for video calling.
Users can wirelessly share smartphone screen by one-touch mirroring with NFC technology that shows all phone content on TV. It enables the device to act as BRAVIA remote control and streams games, photos and movies on the TV screen.
Other features of Sony Xperia Z 3G C6602 include – NFC, access to Video Unlimited, GPS, Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality, Wi-Fi Miracast, MHL, DLNA, access to Google Play, SNS & Google integration, Screenshot capturing, Bluetooth v4.0, microSD memory card slot, 3D games, xLoud Audio, 3D Surround Sound (VPT), FM radio, WALKMAN app, TrackID music recognition, YouTube, 3.5mm audio jack and Non-removable 2330mAh battery.
